The water is sourced through a volcanic filtration process. Arctic moisture from trade winds falls as rain or snow onto the Mauna Loa Volcano in Hawaii. The water then descends through 14,000 feet of porous lava rock, naturally filtering and mineralizing, resulting in the pure Waiākea water.
